In the 80's the Causeway guaranteed a fight a night, which might include getting tazered by Ron, the owner. Regulars could also enjoy watching the owners' son Shane play pinball games in his pajamas as a heavy metal band played. You could write a message on the chalkboard in the ladies room, and talk to the guy who used to come in with a bird on his shoulder. Play "Tears are Fallin'" on the jukebox and dance with the townies. The best times ever. Jimmy Koch wasn't there for the ass kickin', he was there to party.

The Causeway Lounge was called the Causeway Inn in the 70s. It's a mere shadow of what it was then. There was a cover charge, but you could see two or three fights every night! If you were there you know what I'm talking about.
