Yankee Doodles is a cool bar. Incredibly large (It used to be a Jr. High gym) and located next to the Belmont Pool ('84 Olympics). Back in '90-'91 I went in there quite a bit. Drank almost an entire bottle of Capt. Morgans in one day. Went with a real cute Bartender to her apartment (Belmont Heights) when she got off shift but then she lowered the boom and told me she was lez...I still don't believe it.

I've been here before and it used to be Ghetto. But I guess there's a new owner and the place has really cleaned up. Lots of girls, strong drinks, good music and a shit-load of pool tables. Great place for a date, especially if you don't wan't to dance. It's a nightclub atmosphere without the dance floor. If you're into sports, this is thee sports bar to be at in Long Beach.
