| Bar Review: The Music Box |
Add to My Reviews |
One of the better Western venues, the Music Box has reopened at 78th and Cass. It hasn't recaptured any of it's glory, partly due to the lack of decent national acts. The local acts tend to stay downtown so you end up with regional acts mostly. Oh yea, and the Fish Heads. Parking can be a chore sometimes, especially in bad weather because half the lot is unpaved. Smoking is now allowed, but frowned upon, as you can't see the stage from the smoking area.
Overall, this is a nice venue, and with a few more acts could be a great place to go. Plus it is a straight shot to Dundee after the show for some serious drinking and partying.
