Pinch seems to be the most popular bar in Carbondale. It doesn't matter what day of the week it is or whether school is in session or not, the place is always rockin'. The summer is the best with the huge beer garden with an island bar. Copper Dragon, a concert venue next door with it's own brewery, is owned by Pinch and hosts live artists including some well-known bands such as Puddle of Mudd to name one. You can catch live cover bands in the beer garden or even inside Pinch itself. Pinch also hosts parties such as the annual Polar Bear Party, Beer Festival, and other theme parties.
