Located near the corner of Irving Park/Lincoln/Damen, the Lyons Den is the best bar in Chicago, hands down. Attractions: Monday open mic comedy nights (featuring comedians including the recent Star Search winner, John Roy, and in-crowd favorites like Brian Potrafka, Andy Lurie, Monty, Ryan Ridley, etc.); great local bands with cheap covers weekend nights; ALL the football you can watch on weekends (especially Raiders games!) and great bartenders. The burgers and other bar food are great too. Fun place, great people, great entertainment.
