| Bar Review: Hops and Barleys |
Add to My Reviews |
Hops and Barley's is probably the best bar in Northeast Pennsylvania. The bartenders and some waitresses have been there forever, so being an H&B regular means you are always recognized and your choice libation is always remembered. They have a huge menu with everything from bar munchies to Surf and Turf. The beer is always cold and the mugs always cool. They have four regular beers on tap: Coors Light, Miller Light, Budweiser and Yeungling Lager. They rotate two special taps for microbrews or seasonal brews. They also have a cooler full of malt beverages and other bottled beers. The atmosphere is just great, the staff friendly, and the crowd very regular. It's a great mix of college age, young professionals and middle-aged patrons. Everyone gets along; rarely a fight! Other notes: They have a killer juke box, lots of great apparal available and also plenty of special events throughout the year. They have several TV's too, and two megatouch type games.
