| A "Bandera" has been a traditional Mexican drink for many years and naming your dring a Mexican Bandera is a misapplication of the name!!
A bandera consists of one shot Tequila (normally an anejo for smoothness & taste), a shot of sangrita, and a shot of "limon" juice. They are sipped alternately.

| The Mexican Bandera does resemble the colors of the Mexican flag but the drinks are different. In Mexico and the cities bordering Mexico the mix includes a shot of sangria, a shot of tequila, and a shot of lemon juice. |
