Agree, there are many variations! With or without vodka, kinds of and amounts of rums/has to be Cruzan!!! (thank you American Airlines for breaking 3 of our bottles)U SUCK!!!) You are allowed 6 bottles per person but make sure you pack soooooo carefully and wrap everything super and rubber band the bottles in TShirts from Foxys, Soggy Dollar, etc and pray. Even then there is danger! New baggage regs and charges are gonna kill liquor purchases, plus living in PA , with a liquor control board that doesnt let in most of the worlds great stuff!! Just back from VIs and BVIs, didnt want to leave. For anyone going The Beach Bar and Bushwackers in ST J are awesome , we saw jazz greats who are also locals, Steve Simon, Sally Smith, Ramsey, with a great Jazz group there at Sunday sunset, what a memory!!! THANKS STEVE for the great time! Fri nite Happy Hour at the GreenHouse in Charlotte Am features buy one get one free drinks and includes Bwhackers!!! Wahoo! BTW Absinthe is legal in the BVIs if you can charm the bartenders, but beware $20 per for the good stuff~~ The VIs are the BEST!!!

There is a bar on Pensacola Beach in Florida. The owner is Linda Taylor, and she invented the Bushkwacker, and hers is not "the fruity one" mentioned. There is no whipped cream or spice on it. Anytime you are in the area you should stop in to the Sandshader Lounge on Pensacola Beach and have one. The origial Bushwacker!

As a bartender, this would probably be the biggest nightmare drink to have to make. On a busy night, this would cost you tips in the amount of time it would take to make.

As a barmaid myself, I can see where you are coming from, but for us on busy nights we are not allowed to make blender drinks or drinks that have more then 4 or 5 ingredents ! Takes up time, and $$$. But this is a a very tasty drink !!!
