Fill a *copper mug* with small ice cubes. Pour vodka over ice. Squeeze a large wedge of lime over the vodka and then toss the wedge in as well. Fill with the ginger beer. Ginger beer is much tarter and has more flavour than ginger ale. The copper mug is traditional for this drink. It makes the drink incredibly cold. As an option, you may add lime cordial if desired.
