You can alter how much of the black velvet you put in this drink but to me the goldschlager neutralized the whiskey. I have heard if you want to add cointreau to this drink you can light it on fire and it gives it more of a smoky taste. My Canadian friend tried this with me last night and being the more seasoned drinker than me this didn't have the effect on me that it did him.
