The addition of the sloe gin when poured in after the red bull gives the drink a cool layering effect of green on top of red. The equalness of the chambord and the french vanilla kahula sorta cancels each other out.
The kahlua is optional of course, I had it with it and a friend of mine didn't and his had more of a twang to it.
