This was an invention of the bartender at the Crazy Horse where I live and do admit if you add the cranberry juice in between the whiskies then it dilutes its potency. It's still a potent drink that will f you up if you drink it too fast. If you add either 2 or 3 times more black velvet than the crown royal it's a little more pleasing without as much of the pucker effect.
