This was one of the two drinks I came up with on new year's eve, and what can I say when a friend offers to buy your drinks why not just go ahead and let him. I would be the first to admit that this would probably have tasted better if I chose the new vanilla vodka that the bar had gotten in but I was already buzzed so it didn't totally register that way. The Opal Nera being called black licorice liqueur would be pretty clearly to distinguish that it doesn't matter where you add it in.
