| We usually just play everything is face value except 5s and 10s, which can be negative, Aces are 1 or 11. Only time someone drinks is if they lose. We used to play they would have to chug a beer by the end of the next game or they were out. If they couldnt do that they were out and would have to take a shot. Now we just play loser has to take a shot. Very high buzz factor when played right. After awhile we had to instill that if anyone is caught cheating, everyone got a free punch on the kid. Needless to say we all got very good at stealing. |

| Some variations that we usually use:
9 = Count goes to 99.
K is counted as just another face card.
Jokers equal zero to the count, but assignable drink.
If your card sets the count at 69, you assign a drink.
Playing a 10 on a count of 9 reduces the count back to 99. |
