The way we play is that everyone is dealt 4 or 5 cards (depending on how many people play). A pyramid is made starting with 5 (or 6 again depending on how many people play) cards at the bottom with one less card per row until the pyramid is complete. Each row represents an amount of drinks i.e. row one (5 cards) equals 1 drink, row 2 (4 cards) equals 2 drinks, etc. Cards are flipped from the bottom row then proceed up. If you have the card that is flipped is in your hand then you give away the corresponding drinks according to the row ( card value plays no part in this game). However, you can bluff. If, for example, the first card flipped is a 2 and you have no 2s in your hand, you can still tell someone to take a drink. They can either comply, and take the drink(s), or call a bluff. If they call a bluff and the person giving the drinks actually possesses the card the person takes twice the amount of the row they are on ( ie. 2 drinks for row 1, 4 drinks for row 2, etc.). If the person does not possess the card then they must take twice the amount of the row. Good, drunk times will be had by all. Cheers
