one rule i add when i play is that if you make it on you first shot you can pass to anybody thats not shooting. either screw the person after the other person shooting, or pass to the person before and try to get him/her. If you dont make it on your first shot, then you have to pass left

This game is crazy. We add a little bit of chaos to the mix, however. If you make it on your first shot, you can pass the glass to anyone, except the person with the other glass. You can really mess someone up by continually passing the glass to the right of that guy!

If you make the quarter into your glass/cup/mug on the FIRST try you can pass it to anyone EXCEPT the other person with the glass/cup/mug. Any other try other than your first and you must pass it to your left. Once you make it and pass your left where someone is still trying to make it you put your cup/glass/mug in theirs. They can either take their drink or try to make the double. (Stack the cups/glasses/mugs on top of each other-- bottom one upside down, top one right side up). If the double shot is missed the person has to drink twice as much. if it is made the person that caught up with them has to drink their drink. When put the glasses/mugs/cups on top of one another to make the double shot make sure it is lined up with the large container in the center. If they accidently make it in there, they must drink it all.

In our variation we use mugs. Starts with the mugs across the table. After you make the quarter in the mug you can pass it any way you want. When someone gets caught with two cups they have to drink unless they havent shot at their cup. In this case they can line both cups up and shoot at them. If they make it they keep one cup and pass the other cup to the person sitting to the left or right of them. If they miss they drink and pass one cup to the person on their right and the other to the person on the left and drink the cup in the middle and fill it up as much as they want or half full. The cups have to be passed at least one person away from the person drinking. You have to finish the cup and refill it before you can shot again.

Our variation is done with plastic mugs, two mugs start in opposite sides of the table and the players shoot into their own mug, the mugs always pass to the left and the point is to catch up with the mug so someone ends up with two cups (you can use the stack challenge here if you like to play that way)the mug "jumps" and continues to the next person to the left and the one who got jumped has to take a shot of beer and fill it up again, then start their turn again. The only exception is if you make your shot on the first try, then you can pass the mug to anyone and can "jump" someone on your right and make them drink as long as they are right next to you. If you are stuck between two really good people you can end up drinking a lot. plus using mugs instead of shot glasses makes the game MUCH faster, just look out for defense moves, it can get messy.

This is indeed an excellent game but we play with a variation. When you make a quarter and the person to your left is still shooting, you must stack your glass on theirs. They then get one shot at the double cup. If they make it the person who stacked must drink. (Works best with glasses that stack high. Beware of broken glasses.)

We have a variation to this game. Everyone has their own beer, and an empty glass. Shoot the quarter into your glass , when you make it pass your glass to the left, and take a drink. The person who has all empty cups in front of them must chug their beer. They m,ust get anyone who needs it a bew beer and the next rou8nd begins.
