| Bowls is a dangerous variation of speed quarters. You take four bowls filled with beer (just a few ounces in the bottom of each bowl). Put and empty glass in the middle, and then play speed quarters. A player landing in a bowl of beer has to drink the beer and then fill the bowl back up before he/she can continue to shoot at the glass in the middle. Their turn is not completed until they land a quarter in the glass. It get's messy, so it is a good idea to have a towel (Zamboni) on hand.
An even better variation of this is "Goldfish Bowls" where you put a single gold fish in one of the beer bowls. As one gets "eaten" with the beer, a new fish is dropped into the bowl to the left for the next victim. |
